No. Dr. Davis does not require a referral from another doctor. Some
insurance companies require you to obtain a referral to decrease your
out of pocket expense. You may want to call your insurance company
before making an appointment to find out what your insurance policy
requires.
Does Dr. Davis accept all insurance plans?
Dr. Davis accepts most insurance plans. At this time, Dr. Davis does
not accept Medicaid. She is an out of network provider for TriCare. If
you have TriCare we recommend that you contact TriCare find out what
your out of pocket expenses will be and then choose whether or not you
would like to make an appointment with Dr. Davis.
If I have Medicare, will I have any out of pocket costs?
This depends on a few things. You may have an out of pocket expense
if you do not have a secondary insurance. Also, if your Medicare
deductible has not been met for the year, you will most likely have to
pay out of pocket until the deductible is met.
Does Dr. Davis trim toenails?
Sorry, no. Dr. Davis is an orthopaedic surgeon that treats many problems of the
foot and ankle. However, she does not do nail care. Routine nail and
callus care can be done by a podiatrist.
